Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of LocaleShots (“the service”), operated by a solo developer based in the Republic of Korea. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
LocaleShots helps you localize App Store and Play Store screenshot captions and export store-ready images. The service is currently in free beta and is provided “as is”; features may change or be discontinued.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the captions and screenshots you provide (“your content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content — including sending caption text to our AI provider — solely to operate and provide the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload, and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate any law.
4. AI-generated output
Localized captions are generated by an AI model and may contain errors, awkward phrasing, or culturally inappropriate wording. We do not warrant the accuracy or fitness of any output. You are responsible for reviewing every result before publishing it to an app store or elsewhere.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits of the service (including the free demo).
- Do not use the service to process others’ personal data without a lawful basis.
6. Fees
The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans, we will give notice and paid features will not begin charging without your agreement. Waitlist members may receive launch pricing as described at sign-up.
7. Availability and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. You may stop using it and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or app-store outcomes arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
